Windows dosn't show my Nikon NEF files, I have to open Nikons NX studio or lightroom, photoshop etc.

It might be worth considering using Lightroom as your starting point, not the finder.

Pull your images into a folder in Pictures or Documents then use Lightroom to sort tem into separate folders.
