Tuner Repairs?

My beloved Revox gave me an unwanted New Year's present, it's gone and broken
I live in Bath, and was wondering if anyone knew of any good Radio people in the Bath/ Bristol area? At a push I can travel a bit futher afield (London, Reading, or down to Exeter), but I'd want to deliver and collect by hand and hence closer is better.
I know Revoxes are pretty complicated bits of kit, and hence I don't want to leave it in the hands of someone withouut a bit of experience, but I definitely don't have the money to send it to a Revox service centre, what with it being just after Christmas and all.
Any help in locating someone suitable would be much appreciated.

P.S. If its of any help, it seems to be suffering from a number of prolems. It won't give me a signal at all from about 106-108Mhz, the signal strength meter only works on selected frequencies, and whatever signal I pull in comes through as distorted and Mono.
P.P.S. Do I have any chance of claiming on the insurance for this?

The guy who does some of our repairs is a Revox service agent, I know that he specialises in the reel to reel tape decks, but he is pretty clued up generally.

He's dead slow, not cheap, but very good.

I know that you are looking for a cheap solution, but I fear that there is no inexpensive way if you want to avoid a bodge job.

Insurance policies don't cover for 'wear and tear', only accidental damage, and then only if you have gone for that option.
