For Sale - TRON Convergance REFERENCE phono stage

As the title says. This was specced to a REFERENCE level by the original owner, built new for him in Jan 2018. I have a copy of the original receipt. I bought it off him around 2020. Been using it for my Shelter 5000 Moving Coil, sounds wonderful. Looking for £1000 Collection from Cardiff (ish)...

I think Graham’s approach is to use a pair of step up transformers with it, pretty sure he sold some. It is the usual way valve phono stages work, e.g. the MC variant of the 834P and my Verdier both have internal transformers that can be switched in. For some reason I get annoying hum with mine, still haven’t figured that out as the MM stage alone is fine!

that humm is clearly a pb of the SUT’s not being properly grounded. When I run a set of Billington SUT’s to my VTL or any other phono phono I need to ground them to the phono stage as well as between themselves.A built in sut should have had that done though….
