transport/cd player for m-dac

Just got a m-dac but like an idiot didn't realise my cd5i has no digital output!
Any recommendations. Using 5i amp and scm11 speakers.

Good point. Maybe you should consider ditching CDs. Rip them. You could consider a NAS and play via eg AirportExpress. Or play from eg a Mac Mini or a laptop connected directly. A USB connection to the M-DAC is said to give the best SQ.

If so then give it a try, you may be surprised, I was!
