Hi all, this is what the wiring diagram shows on a toroidal Ive got. Ive always thought that the dot indicates the 'live' input/output'. I would usually wire such an item as Blue 230v, grey & violet connected and brown to 0v. Is it still the same on this? The diagram also shows that yellow & black should be connected to give the centre tap, is this correct??

BLU --------- ------- BLK 0V
. | | .
| |
GRY -------- ------ RED 25v
2 x 115v
VIO -------- ------ ORA 0v
. | | .
| |
BRN ------- ------ YEL 25v

Thats not how I set it out!!!

You can get an idea from that jumbles mess but basicall the dots are shown at Blue & Violet on the input and Black & Orange on the output. The vertical lines were in the middle originally!

The blue is your neutral mains , the brown your live mains , the grey and violet you link together for the UK to give you one 230 volt primary coil . You now have 2 X 25v out puts ...AC , hope that helps ... Jon
