The above listed albums have been languishing in Tony's list for quite a while now. May I recommend both albums to you,as I have them already,as being second to none in both interpretation and sound.

I think the Mendelssohn has gone too now. That recording has got to be one of,if not the best interpretation.

The '50 Great Recordings' disc in your link has the same recordings as those on the expanded 2-disc Duo set that Mick and,indeed,I have. I don't know if the 24/96 remaster has any sonic benefit over the Duo set which doesn't sound bad in itself.
