Today's teaser - guess the missing parts

Good point.
I asked and got a response - "finger lift and some screws". Could go for good price
He's also covering himself if he's missed something, the onus is on the buyer so no return.

It could also be f****** :D

The ARO did not come with a finger-lift.

Unless Truepoint can replace the ceramic cup in the bearing, if that is broken, you are stuffed. The hard metal pin of the pivot might also be chipped and that would be only marginally easier to source a replacment for.

You can't see everything, but the Naim drawing for the entire tonearm is available online if you search, which you could compare to.

Hi Vinny, you could be right.
The second link is to the Naim official Web site, and I think I had a physical Aro manual issued by Naim from which these pages are taken. I don't think I still have the manual now though.

Now find the Naim drawing, not someone's half-arsed lash-up of a sketch.

The ARO did NOT have a finger-lift as originally designed and sold. A few people here still use their's without. This has come up here beyond numerous times.

Original Naim drawing seems to suggest that it did - "FINGER HOOK: D/N274 GA18"
