I did, you're right, but decided to design my own a while back. Took time to perfect but i think the result is outstanding. Much better than the SM100s in every single aspect.
I’ve never heard Isobariks properly but the aesthetics would rule them out for me, they look like they were built in a shed (like many 70s speaker designs I suppose). I love the way some of the big ATC and Herbeth speakers look though, they know how to get the fit and finish right... and Harbeth Monitor 40s sound pretty good too, not had much time to for an opinion on big ATCs.
I’ve never had much desire to. I remember when they were cheap and described as “poor by comparing to newer models”... then they started to gain a cult following, prices exploded accordingly and my interest fell away completely. You're lucky then!

I bought an original Nait, along with a Rega Planar 3, some 90s Marantz CD player and some Arcam speakers for £180. I only wanted the deck built checked everything else out. It sounded fine, but very limited in terms of power (that mattered as an 18 year old rocker), I sold the lot on minus the deck for £150 and calling it a win. If anyone had told me the amp would sell for £500+ a short few years later, I’d have launched my head off... so I’m wary of “cult” products.
Bless.... She'd soon find herself single again if she were telling me which speakers I can have.Bookshelf if you are married & Floorstanders when single
