What oil do I need for Thorens main bearing?

Hi , sewing machine oil would be ok, but I also sell suitable oil. Sorry for the plug, but it is important not to use unsuitable oils such as engine oil.

The TD-124 Manual states using Caltex or Texaco Regal Oil B (ROB)

No problem Gerard have a look at my gallery on Northwest analogue, there is a nice TD124 which I serviced not to long ago sound was lovely. Hopefully speak to you soon.

The oil I supply is the modern equivalent of those recommended by Thorens.

This is more pressing than I thought - I just noticed oil on the bottom of the bearing housing - removed the spindle/platter and the well is pretty much empty (not dry but only a little oil in there)
