It was a hosting server connect timeout problem.
Not sure what caused it, but our 'man who can' (Nick of this parish) fixed the problem.
It would have been sorted out earlier had I contacted Nick sooner; so my apologies.

AOS. site has been down . is this just a one off ?
Last couple of days the site has been down and looked around to see if there was any information as to why . Not been able to find anything so thought I would ask .

Still trying to get my head around Maverick, supposedly a Wam successor. Very plain presentation but well frequented. Wam was okay until you had to log out and back in again to view (obv. a glitch but still there. Shame about AoS, as I was one of the early members but rarely active nowadays.
