The Tory leadership race- that’s quite a bestiary there.

Mail........quoted widely. C'mon lets hear the tape, I expect Boris's trip through to the courts in search of an injunction is purely to protect his good lady.

"Next-door neighbour, 32-year-old nursery worker Fatimah, was among those who heard the loud dispute. She said: 'There was a lot of shouting, a lady was screaming and I could hear glasses or plates being thrown quite a few times. 'The man was shouting back. I could hear it through my walls. I was watching TV and muted it because I was so worried. It lasted for about ten minutes. I have never heard anything like that before. 'You could hear glass being smashed and other things. It was obvious the lady was angry, she was screaming hysterically. My walls were shaking from all the noise and things that were being thrown around.' And Earl McDermott, who lives nearby, told MailOnline: 'It was a proper tear up. Glasses being smashed, screaming and a lot of arguing. I was walking past Johnson's house and you could hear it coming from the top floor. I thought someone was being murdered.’”

I suspect the most interesting aspect is not that it happened, but rather what caused it. You don’t have plate-throwing, glass-smashing rows over a bit of red wine on a sofa. Wonder if we’ll ever find out?

She found the pigs head or was asked to...err...make like the pigs head?

She walked into the bedroom and he had his head stuck up Donald Trump’s arse?

That's why Hunt made it to the first Husting.

Came over as weak. Softly spoken, quiet, I just can not imagine how he will keep his party in line. He'll be over run in no time.

They would have to turn the mic above the despatch box up markedly so that anyone can actually hear him, including that elderly Marxist right opposite.

Johnson was his usual bombastic self, point blank avoiding personal questions put to him by a lame, softly and quietly spoken interviewer who's only show of strength were his loud red socks.

Hunt will stand no chance.

Hunt gave answers and was at least realistic and on top of his brief. Johnson said nothing, answered no questions, blustered and bullshitted in a style that appeals to the Brexit zealots or feeble minded. He hasn't a clue and will do something to avoid ever being in a position where he has to deliver. He just has to find a way out - that he can make look like is not his fault.

I hope Johnson wins. He needs to own this mess he created. Hunt will always be thought if as a collaborator and the problems will be blamed on a remainder in charge.

Johnson’s failure will be his to own. Of course he’ll blame the EU. Davis was at that again complaining that they won’t give us what we want.

Boris rides down Tory fluffer, Ian Dale-

Since Johnson is refusing to even acknowledge questions about his personal conduct and that the Tory Press is instead (like the Mark Field attack on a separate woman) going after the character of witnesses to the incident, we need to hear the recording of Johnson for ourselves. That way it won’t be possible for them to bury the witnesses with slander and incite social media threats of violence against them.

:D

Hard remainers can hardly criticise the man for that. After all, they’ve been whinging that Labour is not giving them exactly what they want. Of course, there is a difference, Labour can’t give remainers what they want but the EU could have negotiated properly rather than fail to move on anything.

Complaints from Davis about this do have some justification.

When even a Tory commentator remarks that "Boris and Carrie deserve each other, both are scheming machiavellian utterly selfish people", you know it's going to be fun. Can't wait for the first Anglo American summit. Boris trying to plook Melania and making comments about her boobjob and Drumpf trying to tell Symonds how she reminds him of his daughter as they end up chasing each other round the oval office like some Benny Hill sketch. Probably end up with Boris and Drumpf having a circle jerk over photos of porn stars they've both shagged whislt Symonds and Melania go and hammer their credit cards in NY. The truly scary thing being, that's probably not much of an exaggeration.

The EU did negotiate properly. Both sides agreed the details, the problem was that the Tory party didn’t agree with May’s negotiated deal. If I sign I contract I can’t then turn around and try to change its terms. Well I can, but I’d be told to f*ck off.

Of course if you want to endorse the Tory Brexit that’s your prerogative. Personally I’m not going to do that.

Too complicated. Wot bit of Brexit means Brexit don’t you understand™ ?

What’s interesting is May actually did better than that. A UK customs union with no cost to us. She did actually get a bespoke deal.

Problem that the Brexit position has hardened. For many, it seems that just walking away (even from our international obligations I is now the default.

Brian, the term you use, ‘hard remainers,’ just comes across as another pointless name calling exercise.

I think many would accept Brexit if we’d ever seen any indication after three years of the benefits. Even passionate leavers now just talk about it not being as bad as it could be to leave.

Well, from accounts I’ve heard discussed and reported, the EU gave nothing. That is not a negotiation.

As for the rest, point me to where I said I endorse the tory brexit?

What did I post that makes you bang on about signing contracts? After saying that, the attitude you describe toward honouring a contract once signed should be applied to the outcome of a democratic referendum.

Nonsense. You know exactly what the intended meaning is.

Spoken like someone who truly hasn't a freaking clue what they are talking about. After 40 years of handbagging replacing actual negotiating the Tories were left in the position when they couldn't just say "This is what we're doing, and we will have that that and that"; then force a vote through to ratify it. No they had to actually try and negotiate with adults who know how to do exactly that.

Given what may wanted, which was the "Full Sky Package and control of the remote" for free, is it any surprise that the deal May ended up with was actually, nothin gmore than a clusterfeck of nothing. You cna squeal all you like the fact remains sic, on the first day they sat down to negotiate most of Mays teams didn't actually know the difference between the "Customs Union" and the "Single Market" and were surprised when the EU had to constantly point out that, you can't have that if you're leaving that one cos, that's part of the other.

This is a government who has spent millions of public funds on failed lawsuits because they simply don't understand, the freaking law applies to them as well, just because they can snort what they like, shag what they like, say what they like in their private lives covered by a supine and cowered media, they can't actually just make the law up on the hoof.

Davis is permanently "tired and weary", May was so far out of her depth intellectually it was embarrassing and Raab doesn't even freaking know where Dover is and these were the people supposed to "negotiate" with seasoned professional politicians . In the end , the whole farce descended into the equivalent of a sulky kid hanging on to their parent's hand , dragging their feet and demanding something they know is never going to happen.

Keir Starmer made it plain in the HOC that whoever negotiated said agreement seriously hadn't a clue about the law. That leaves us with the suggestion that, the EU just gave up and sent May away with something they knew would never be accepted so why should they bother what a complete mess we're making of it?
