The ???? thread

Oh dear, the first person has tried to stain the speakers black, over the original finish, what a shame. Bonkers idea of collection and value, how do they work this out?

Like you do, I was browsing through Ebay, and came across a couple of genuine WTF adverts.
Check these out:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/19533538...d=link&campid=5338728743&toolid=20001&mkevt=1

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/17577823...d=link&campid=5338728743&toolid=20001&mkevt=1

I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry at them.
I guess in the first advert the tweeters are supposed to be convex rather than concave?

In the second one, it's the dried out woodlice that pushes the price up.

Probably both prices the result of judicious web searching....

There's something appropriate (i.e. suitably bonkers) about speakers at £297.50/Kg.

There always seem to be sellers on ebay working on the 'bigger fool' theory - refugees from the City maybe?
Do they ever actually sell anything?

The first guy has some of those metal dome tweeters I've seen before on Ebay - where they are completely ruined.... But it "doesn't affect the sound"
