The Fall -- Live at the Witch Trials

Joe Hutch said:
Here's a question for the Fall fanatics out there. At the beginning of 'Hi Tension Wire' Mark E Smith 'hums' a familiar-sounding tune before the main song kicks in. Can anyone identify it, or is it just something he made up?

I've just had a listen. It doesn't sound familiar to me.

They have released 130 + albums, compliations, live, sessions, re-hashes etc.

Only a die hard fan can keep up with it

I would think a compliation of the early singles would be worth a punt, but some of the mid-period LPs would be trying.

Actually if sort out the compilations and, in some cases, very patchy live albums you're left with 25 original studio albums. All essential purchases I reckon (I've got 15 of 'em...still hunting down some 90's stuff when I mistakenly 'went off' them). Add to these the Peel Sessions CD box set and you're larfin'
