Wonder if there’s any truth in this?
I really hate those populist F1 sites. They are the F1 equivalent of the Daily Mail and unreadable to me.

There's tons of similar "quality" material on Youtube too.
Well... This is significant to us old hats who thinks that the 1966 movie 'Grand Prix' is the best ever racing movie:
Interesting article on Jamie Chadwick, the best female driver of this generation (IMO). She dominated every W series but is now doing well in the Indy feeder series, winning the last race at Road America.
Danica Patrick actually won an Indycar race, and achieved some respectable positions at the Indy 500.And Indycar doesn't have an unwritten rule against female drivers. She probably will turn up in Indycar. Still, when was the last time some one transfered from Indycar to F1? Hmmmmm.... Bourdais in 2008 (if we put Champcar under the Indycar banner)?

but I think she is good enough for Indycar
Damned by faint praise
It is a massive amount of work and cost to build a one off car (that alone rules it out), that would almost certainly be worse than the current cars there as the aero would be a one off, whilst not being that much smaller due to safety regs, engine size, fuel tank size. etc. It's often said that the current crop of F1 cars are "too big" for Monaco.
What says the group to the proposition that Monaco be retained in the calendar, but they build 24 identical smaller cars specifically for that race, and use only those?
Jackie Stewart won at Monaco in 1966 in a 1.5 litre F1 car from the previous year - few of the manufacturers were ready for the 3L formula, and, from memory, only Brabham and Ferrari had 3L engines, the Cosworth DFV wouldn't come until the following year and BRM's H16 wasn't ready. It's often said that the current crop of F1 cars are "too big" for Monaco.

Change the regs to
Change the regs to suit. Or use an existing smaller car design.
OR, here's a thought - make it a kart race.
Or just give up on trying to race and make it a time trial with a pitstop glass of prosecco every lap, fastest to 12 laps one car on track. Could have a hazards, water spraying the track at swimming pool, smoke machine at Tabac and gold confetti at Casino.
