Technics ST-S6 Tuner

Technics ST-S6 FM/MW tuner up for grabs... One below top of the range upon release ['81 I think?] Full working order apart from the "Quartz Lock" light no longer illuminates, pretty good condition with just the usual stacking marks.

It is available for free but if a small donation were made to either the PFM coffers or a charity of your choosing I certainly wouldn't protest. I can post it for £7.50 with myHermes if need be.

It would indeed be a shame! Having for years picked up old tuners from the rubbish bin or for 5 Euro at flea markets I can testify that that generation of tuners worked beautifully, never break down, nice sound. I have half a dozen from 1975 - 1990 and they all work like a dream. I try to give them away to friends, but without much success.
If I were not in Rome, I would take this one like a shot.
