Teac P700 problem

On the display it shows the track number 0 then a M then a S,I can change track numbers with the drawer open then when I push the play button it lights up for a few seconds then the track number goes to zero then it stops.
It was a bit temperemental the last time I used it,hopefully it is just a control button issue.I havent got a manual ,any ideas anyone?

Problem solved ,had never used the remote (had left it at work)playing with the repeat button sorted it.What a wally.
