I was bidding on this when I saw it come up last night. Bought some nice kit from a heavy smoker some years ago and, of all things, it took me weeks to finally get rid of the smell from the ....speaker cables!

Huh. I think they were smoked/tinted plastic (or glass?) from the factory. No nicotine required!
