I've the 565s too
What's the cable on them?
I had it made , this is a copper cable with gold plated pins headphone end and a 4 pin xlr amp end , all joints resin filled . Really well made and he does a pure silver as well as all the standard connections . Extremely competitive on price.
So (hate starting a sentence so) anyway, while the masses may look at this latest pic and cry foul for posting the same one as last week, the masses would be wrong. The more astute among you will instantly have spotted the difference. Yes, the Karik and Numerik now each have a dedicated anti-shelf sat within one anti-stand. An extraordinary move? Most certainly! I'm fair blown away by the difference this has made. At this stage I must admit that, post anti-stand additional shelf, the left Gale 401 made no sound whatsoever; A situation brought about by a faulty solder joint in the Chord Cobra interconnect. It's the only 'proper' interconnect I have and wasn't cheap so not impressed by failed joint in the LH phono plug. Anyway, everything now sounds really very good indeed. But I don't know if it's because of the extra anti-shelf or the freshly repaired Cobra. Who cares? Nobody probably. The thing is, the whole point is, I've an excuse to post another pic.
Mr Tibbs
Very cool looking set😎
Intended to get a decent DAC for years but everytime I listen to it, I decide it's completely unnecessary.
Logitech SBT, PFM B4 in Naim 42 box, Olive 250, Shahinian Obelisks, all running on a dedicated mains spur. Intended to get a decent DAC for years but everytime I listen to it, I decide it's completely unnecessary:
I guess it is too late now, but I just wish someone would have made a milled aluminium case for the SBT...
I love that. The floor. Polished concrete?
I also ran a SBT for several years and never felt the need for one.
Yes indeed it is. It sounds great!
Not much change. Went active and most recently added a Teddy Supercap to the Snaxo, otherwise its the same Teddy PR1/ST60 system.
