Seems a bit of an overkill by the Police. I'm assuming they could not get a vet with a tranquilizer gun first?

I remember when Staines was in Middx. Regardless, seems bizarre that they couldn’t get the RSCPA or a farmer to help although there are so few details maybe they did to no avail. Doesn’t look good though and if they can’t ram nutters gluing themselves to motorways (not advocating that btw) it shouldn’t happen to an animal.

On my drive home there were cows in the road. And sheep. And pigs. Loads of horses and a ton of donkeys.

Nobody felt the need to run any of them over!
