No one else is making the tips ? these three make even the .7 mil conicals and the .3X.7 BOTL elliptical styli ? I assume this is tips -some make their own cantilevers ?

Is this really the case - are all the brands either rebadging or assembling from these few??

Back to the original question - anyone with experience with one or more of Sumiko Blackbird, Hana ML and Phasemation PP-200 (which are priced roughly similarly) could comment on relative strengths/characteristics? Thanks!

Really liked the Blackbird but although heard it many times and for loads of hours was only in one system and no other carts were compared...FWIW

who knows the cartridges from Sumiko?
I find the two MM's Moonstone and Amethyst interesting.

Any update or new experience of these ?
I had been thinking long and hard to try a Sumiko.

Was about to order a new Gyger stylus for my Goldring G10xx (1042 stylus gone)
But their pricing is well up in Sumiko territory.
Maybe I should just wait with Goldring - not that I was unhappy with G1042, on the contrary, its very good but prices never move down so it can wait.

Never tried new style MM Sumiko and the reviews seem promising, indeed the Amethyst.
Finally,.. some of the Sumiko's are on sale at the mo.
Maybe new editions upcoming - maybe just season sale ?
