Following on from other advice from you chaps. I am currently using a pair of
B & W 606 s2 which I must say are pretty impressive. However a good friend of mine lent me a pair of vintage Kef 105/2 to try. Very very nice. The Kefs couldn't match the mid range and highs of the 606s2s. But the 606s2s couldn't live with the base presentation of the 105/2s which was stunning.
My question is; would an active subwoofer enhance the base of the 606s2s. If yes any recommendations on make, size and power.
