Sub Advice Please

Morning All

I have been asked to look into subwoofers by a friend for AV purposes.

We are looking for a piano black cube, 12" driver with around 300Watts on board. It will plug into the sub input on a big Denon jobby.

Budget is around £1000.

Recommendations and suggestions appreciated; dealers what do you stock?

Best advice re subs given to me by Jim Smith (who used to distribute Audiopax & Avantgarde in the States). Buy two or save your money
I used to own a very large REL but two two smaller ones now give far better results.
