I've just caught up with this release from what used to be a local band when I was just a lad.
It captures very typical moods and patterns from all over their extensive career. There are some great tracks that will surely join the ranks on any later best of compilations. Maybe one too many slow tempo tracks but the mood is a little backward looking as a supposed final album can be forgiven of.
If this does prove be their last then it'll be a worthy swan song.
A raised glass for the Guildford men in black and an extra thought for the fallen Dave Greenfield.
