After the lack of interest I didn't bother to repost the ad. I wasn't able to advertise it here I think I have to be a more established member to do so. Might give it another try when we're back home. Seems a shame to have it sat there unused.

I tried the torque tweak as per the stereophile review. The screw is tiny, I found a 2mm screwdriver works best.
I set my torque to 11 on the clock where 7 is minimum and 5 is maximum (found a youtube video that explained this).

I noticed that the platter is a smidgeon slower to get up to speed. Probably 0.9 second instead of 0.7.
Listened to one album. It sounded good. Not sure if it is a significant upgrade or not, since I didn’t do any sort of A/B test.
