Stereo Passive Pre to Leak TL12 in a Mono system

I'm helping my dad set up a mono system.

It looks like this:

Garrard 301 >> Shure V15 Type III >> Phono Stage >> Tisbury Passive Preamp >> LEAK TL12 >> Tannoy Monitor Gold 15"

A number of his records are stereo and he's using a stereo cartridge. He'll also be connecting his PC, so there is a need to down mix stereo to mono somewhere in the chain.

I am assuming the best place to do this is between the Tisbury Passive pre output and the TL12 input.

Please can I get some suggestions on the best way to sum the channels ahead of the LEAK without doing any harm to the music or the equipment?

Thanks in advance.

It's a handy gadget which in this instance you'd set to mono & then take a single lead to the Leak.
Or simplify further, 2 phonos in, one out & no switch.
