I'm helping my dad set up a mono system.
It looks like this:
Garrard 301 >> Shure V15 Type III >> Phono Stage >> Tisbury Passive Preamp >> LEAK TL12 >> Tannoy Monitor Gold 15"
A number of his records are stereo and he's using a stereo cartridge. He'll also be connecting his PC, so there is a need to down mix stereo to mono somewhere in the chain.
I am assuming the best place to do this is between the Tisbury Passive pre output and the TL12 input.
Please can I get some suggestions on the best way to sum the channels ahead of the LEAK without doing any harm to the music or the equipment?
