My neighbour is sorting out her late husband’s audio equipment and there is a pair of Ikea stands
of the type used for Elves.
Any interest ?

Hi,

I bought mine from a fellow PFM member for £12 including postage, how prices have risen since then.

I think they were about £10 from IKEA, I think they were sold as magazine stands.

Somehow can't imagine them holding up magazines. Found this online

Definitely sold as speaker stands. I set some up with Monitor Audio Bronze for my mum. Sounded pretty decent like that. Next time I went round, the speakers had migrated to the bottom of the tv stand, and the Kompass were nowhere to be seen.
 
The ones I have are missing the foam on the back support.
It’s a plastic tube, with some foam underneath.
I’m a little confused why...
I have some pictures.
