Squeezebox and USB 3.0

I have dramatically improved speed of search on my Squeezebox system by upgrading to an external USB 3.0 drive. I also had to put a USB 3.0 card in my PC.

If you are currently using an internal drive, this is irrelevant. But I was using an external drive; really pleased with the improved usability of the system.

I can imagine.
External drives (USB 2.0) seem to come to and end with around 4000 Albums too. Browsing through artists and so on takes significantly more time to load now.
