Sprint acquires 33% of Tidal

Which could make life hard for non Sprint users in the USA. Peering is abused to sabotage competitors sometimes

A major US telecommunications provider that does both wireless and internet services (along with that old dinosaur, "long distance telephone service").

3rd largest one I think. Quite a bit of money behind them by the look of it.

Tidal will live to see another day.

I'm not bothered about a Mqa mobile app. I normally listen to the radio on sh*t headphones when I am out and about . For home more content for Mqa would be great as well as investment in the gui, and it's tempting to think that this will drive same. Glad they look like they will stick around.

I would have thought sprint would happily take tidal only subscribers. Then they can concentrate on upselling the rest of the offer to them over time.
