Spot (of SST records) RIP

Was sad to hear that Spot the legendary producer of SST fame died last week.

And great soundings albums too. Especially this one. Sublime production...

That is sad news indeed. I loved SST records, so much amazing stuff and a lot was down to the wonderful live in studio simplicity of the recordings. In any sane world this would be classed as an audiophile album:

A stunningly dynamic and alive 45rpm mini-LP. Must dig it out for a spin.
