Speaker question.....

Here's one for the DIY speaker bods....

I'm rebuilding some Kef 104's. The internal wiring looks fairly thin and weedy (IMHO). Can anyone suggest a good quality general purpose replacement? Preferably not exhorbitantly expensive.

Should I use a different cable for the HF and LF drivers?

Cheers

Mogami 2972, split into separate conductors. Inexpensive, useful guage, very flexible, and colour coded.

If you want to get a little anal, convention suggests using red and black for the bass, yellow and brown for the tweeter.

While you're at it, check the input terminals and upgrade them if needed; I like Hirschman 4mm sockets (as used by Naim, apparently).
