We seem to be getting hammered of late. I’ve deleted three that delivered a payload today alone and it’s only mid morning. I’ve also been noticing a lot of unusual activity with vastly more users online than is realistic, there were 800 guests a couple of days ago, and that is just crazy. Usual site stats are around 450-550 online, of which 150 or so are logged-in registered users (this being a healthy balance for a forum). As such I’ve upped bot security on Cloudflare a little. I’m only mentioning this in case additional challenge impacts anyone using TOR or other anonymising tools. I need to monitor things as I obviously can’t afford to block legitimate bots (Google, Bing spiders etc), but I need to do something. Anyway if you are using aggressive privacy or spoofing tools similar to many bots and find you can’t log on this may be the cause.
