There have been several mentions of this new DAC on pfm recently, and I can see why.

Yet it is genuinely affordable for most of us I would guess https://shenzhenaudio.com/products/...z-dsd512-hi-res-audio-dac-headphone-amplifier shows $352 or £272, deliverd, though perhaps not including import TAX. It is nearly an order of magnitude less money than similarly well measuring DACs, of which their are not many.
Now sabre haters are gonna hate, sure, while objectivists are going to love it (I assume!), but given I am looking for a DAC to move my 90s CDP (Trichord Research Genesis based on Pioneer Stable Platter CDP with Trichord clock mods, should be a fine transport) and improve on the built in DAC of a CCA I use for streaming, can I do any better for the money? It has the coax and optical inputs I want, and more future options (MQA, DSD512, 32bit/768kHz) should I go forwards and get myself a "proper" streamer.
So has anybody got one? Any feedback appreciated. What is the build like? What DACs have you compared it to? Please share!
