burndy end of case bad smell music still playing until I turned it off. Repairable?

no warranty-it's an olive front type. Serviced about 10 years ago at Class A. I've slide the tray out but can't see an obvious problem.

I’m Darran will take another look if he’s done it before, then. Otherwise, Naim will be able to sort it but it’ll probably cost more.

Easily repairable as there are not so many parts inside.
Worst case, a board from Avondale can be very easily fitted and would improve the sound drastically :

Highly likely to be burnt out tant. It will probably still work after a fashion.

It will be easy to spot which one, it will be black (or just completely exploded) as opposed to blue or yellow.

This happened to my Supercap. Send it off the Class A, have it serviced and it'll be sorted.

It will fixable, it the old naim ‘leave it switched on’ mantra. I ended up having to have my Nap 250 serviced twice in less than 20 years.
