SME 309 tonearm for sale. I've had this around a year now, and when I received it the whole package was as new - all tools and documents sealed and the tonearm itself looked as though it had never been used. This is the pre-Magnesium aluminium arm which rarely comes up for sale, especially in this condition.
The arm comes with all tools to set VTF, VTA, HTA and fixings to connect to an SME threaded armboard, as well as detachable magnesium headshell with fingerlift and fixings, tonearm cable and all documentation/templates for fitting.
This arm is so good, although I've not heard the IV and V I understand the price point makes this one the bargain of the range. Especially suited to Michell turntables but I have seen this range fitted to all sorts; Garrard 301/401, Technics 1200 series etc.
I am looking for £1200 posted for this arm; you can come and inspect in Plymouth before purchasing.
