Just few watts like 10 should be enough.
Up to £300-400. But to be honest I have no limits, just trying to be sensible.

I have had this amplifier from new, imported from the USA around 10 years ago. It has worked flawlessly since. It is in excellent condition. This is because it is purely class A in operation. Thus very clean and dynamic.

I have one of these amps and for the wonga sounds stupidly good- with the 48v power supply.

I’m using a Temple Audio Bantam gold - with an equally small Kingrex preamp on my desk. The power amp has delighted me with its grip, bass power and infectious musicality. The first track I played was by Salif Keita, and it had me up out of my chair and dancing! Talk about PRAT!

I have tried a wiim amp and found that volume control hasn't got enough steps for me and there is no way to go as low as I need in a small room.
