Was slightly confused...... when I saw the thread title I made the assumption this was going to be an RIP thread.... then when read the post above thought "ooft thats a bit subjective" 
Better enlightened now!..... yes shocked he wasn't already a knight of the realm - he's a one-man renaissance of English church and choral music for everyone from primary school kids to professional choirs.
