Sinead O’Connor . Respect

I found a great little record shop in Zagreb a couple of days ago. I asked the supper-friendly local running the place what he was listening to and he pulled out a bunch of records, one of which was Sinead O’Connor’s “Throw Down your Arms”. I was never all that much into her music before but this is a fantastic album of roots and dub. She’s a highly versatile and talented musician. We’re loving it….

I also got a great ska album by the Skatalites as well as some early Burning Spear and the Abyssinians. Haven’t explored this fully yet but suspect its all good.

I can only agree and she's beautiful too. On the other hand she's not only an example of a great talent, but also of a wasted talent. A pity.
