the Lamy Studio was one of my first purhases - but was too heavy & thick for me for long writing periods otherwise excellent

Pencils are another matter & I can recommend the Lamy Scribble with the proviso that the 3.15 lead is too hard but the 0.7mm version should give better choice of leads

Alan, no I don't shake. Was using a Messenger (Smiths own make) Have switched to a Parker 45 and no more problems.

As to paper and note nooks I use an A5 black calfskin Mulberry with Mulberry's own paper.
