Rarely contribute to these RIP threads, but have seen Sean a few times and thought him one of the best comedians in the country. A true talent gone too soon.

Not overly familiar with him or his comedy but when I have seen him in something he always seemed like a decent bloke. 58 is no age.

This really is awful news. Cancer is a complete bastard.

Not only did I find him excellent on 8 Out Of 10 Cats, I remember seeing him doing sketches on Newman & Baddiel In Pieces way back in 1993. A very funny guy with a wicked sense of humour.

RIP Sean Lock.
