AVI insist upon one between their Lab Series power amp and a pre amp.

My question is, what is one and which might be the cheapest that will last a while. No foo please?

I just want a well made cable that's shielded.

Easy to make a very good one. maplin's heavy duty phono plugs and some shark cable with two shields. The shields is designed to collect nasty rf and send it packing to the centre of the earth. (ish)

Arthur, I used NVA Super Sound Chord i/cs (but have since sold them) but they work just fine with most any well constructed RCA cables.
