I'm looking for a pair of speakers for my Albarry 408 mono blocks and Nac 32.5/HiCap. Currently they drive an old pair of Elipson 3230 (late 70's white orbs & bass cab). I've run across a pair of black Royd Abbots in excellent shape for sale here in Toronto that I'm interested in. Any thoughts on compatibility and what a reasonable offer would be? Suggestions regarding other suitable speakers in same class would be appreciated.
My sources are a Rega Planar 3 & Quad FM4.....blues/jazz/r&r - Sunday morning classical. I hope I haven't offended anyone with my eclectic system but it just came together that way over time.
