Royd A7 repair

I ve come by a pair of Royd A7s (mk ii) removed the front grills and found the foam seals are completely perished.

One speaker plays fine the other has a slight distortion.

I ve seen replacement foam surrounds on ebay but have no experience of repairs or speaker workings - will new foams sort this or is it likely to be something else causing the distortion

There is a step by step procedure. Its not particularly easy but if you are handy at DIY, its a job worth doing if you are interested.

Thanks I ll try and find it. I m up for the DIY challenge but interested if you think it will cure the distortion?
