Rotels Headphone sockets

Whats the thought behind Rotel amplifiers headphone socket not cancelling the speakers for private listening

let me explain I have three Rotel amps all RA- series the headphone sockets do not cancel there is also no speaker switching off switch all all three and all different models

if you had one in a rack and you had to fiddle about behind it each time to pull the speaker cables out its not very practical is it. So whats the thought behind this Please?

RA-970BX has a button called "remote speakers". There are two sets of speaker posts at the back. If you connect your speakers to the "remote" set, then you can disconnect the speakers with the "remote speakers" button for headphone listening.
Or sell the integrated amps and buy RC/RB, so you can just switch off the power amp
