The Quad is a bargain at £250 but if a home can be found this weekend, £230. Definitely no lower.

There Strata II hits rock bottom at £150 in this condition.
 
Both are genuine bargains and both are good enough to use as Wi-Fi as well as home cinema.
I love Rel subs but I've also heard the Quad in a mates system, it's certainly no slouch.
Take your pick.......bargains.

Hi Thanks for the message. The Elizabeth Line goes further than Heathrow, which is a bitch to park at, so Taplow would be easy and there are lifts to make the transfer of platforms simpler. Both subs are great. REL should suit your needs.
 
I'm afraid I will have to pause the subwoofer project, I got a veto from the missus ☺️
