Rega P8 feet- removable?

May I ask where you got your TT level @Chris Tarling

I've looked but I'm afraid I can't find any record of my purchase.
Sorry.
I know it wasn't inexpensive, such that it took me a while to decide to buy it.
It is simply a block of acrylic with the bubble levels inserted and an accurate hole for the spindle. Mine does seem very well made though I confess to not checking its accuracy.
Closest I could find is this, which is stupidly expensive (I definitely didn't spend this much!) and lacks the spindle hole: https://www.audioemotion.co.uk/acoustic-signature-2-way-bubble-level-18098-p.asp

There is this...

"Analogue Studio Turntable Bubble Level with Spindle Hole"

See here:

£25

Not as fancy as the one you illustrate, Chris.

There is also a cheaper version, no spindle hole:
"...Analogue Studio VTA and Azimuth Bubble Level

This highly accurate bubble level is handy for ensuring your Tonearm cartridge VTA and Azimuth are correct.

Ideal for setting up any tone arm/cartridge
Can also be used on the Platter for quick checks..."

Thanks

This is a very accurate, inexpensive, lightweight & soft -non-marring- acrylic level made by a real reputable Co. that just makes measuring tools that I found and purchased a few years back that is perfect for turntables as well as many other things. While the small turntable specific platter levels are neat they are really too short overall to get truly actuate & repeatable readings of platter & plinth & rack shelving, and, etc.. Made in Austria FWIW. Accuracy in the standard position is ≤ 0.001 in/in - - Sku: 052837028948, Model: Keson LKTSF

Being something of a heretic I removed my Planar 8 feet, its a quick and easy job. I replaced them with Isoacoustic feet, to be candid the difference is very subtle which proves Rega's design is good. I prefer the look of the Isoacoustic feet and when I measured the vibration there was a marginal improvement in the vibration reading using the replacement feet.

Thank you anyway Chris. I asked as your level seems simple and effective with bubbles in both planes. Thanks also to the other contributors, is appreciated.
