Rega Naia and Technics SL1210G for sale

Before I resort to Ebay I thought I would offer to pfishies these two turntables, boxed and as new.

I bought the Naia to demonstrate at this year's Bristol Hifi show which was a lot of fun. Needless to say I thought it sounded superb. It is one month old. It has been played to a room full of people, including Roy Gandy himself! Other than those three days it has remained boxed. The lid has not been used.

I bought the SL-1210G to demonstrate at last year's Bristol show.

Neither includes a cartridge.

I look after my kit extremely carefully, never moving a deck with the platter installed, never leaving a belt around the pulley when not in use, and never putting any significant pressure on arms during cartridge installation. If you know what I've been up to you will understand that I treat arm bearings especially with almost paranoid gentleness as I know how important it is to preserve their integrity.

These turntables are superb and I may decide to buy similar again one day, but my turntable collection is getting out of control, and I already have eight other turntables, many of sentimental value, so something has to give and there's no point keeping them boxed and fallow when others could be enjoying them

All realistic offers will be considered.

Cheers!

Ok, understood.

I'll take 9000 GBP for the one-month-old Naia. It's had about 15 - 20 hours use. It's nearly run in.

I'll take 2900 GBP for the 1200G. My rough guess would be 100 hours use.

Hi Is the 1210G still for sale and are you open to offers? Unsure where about in the country you are to collect (I'm Cambridge).
Thanks
Mike

Thanks for your interest Mike - I'm in central London and the 1210G is still available. I wouldn't hesitate to post it as I still have the original box and packaging. They are built like tanks. I would of course supply the deck with the platter and counterweights removed as originally supplied by Technics.

I probably sound like a broken record but the G is a great base if you fancy a Techy rearm project. I heard this same deck with the Blackbird arm and I use a G with a high mass Japanese arm which also suits it very well. Ammonite Audio make alloy armboards that look OEM and of course Steve at Magna Audio makes his quality ebony armboards.

I stil have not had time to put either of these decks on Ebay, but I am close. This is probably the last chance to pick these up at what may well be less than market rate. Don't be shy with offers...
