There's a new range of Ortofon cartridges - they've appended an 'R' to the name of an existing range.
Not as tall as the standard carts
R for reduced (height) or Rega
So it'll fit a Naia no probs
So about as much use as What Hi-Fi reviews?

In the same system
An Aethos would do it for me
Yeah, right.I challenged him about his 9 scores almost all of the time and he said he only reviewed stuff that he knew was going to be good.
Ed Selley is currently reviewing the new Naia along side his P10, should make for interesting reading as he himself has questioned that given the similarities and price difference "Can the Naia really be that much better?"
He likes it then.
Paid by maker, everyone would like it.He likes it then.
Probably gets to keep it.
If said writer liked the P10 then he’ll like this. Would he buy one with his own money though? These are the comparative choices real punters have to make.Paid by maker, everyone would like it.
Said he bought it in December 2021. May have moved on since to the P10. If I had the money and/or was able to obtain new gear at accommodation prices it would be fun to have those few decks to listen to in my home with my records.Does Ed not use a Vertere as his daily driver?
He certainly says he bought one relatively recently: https://www.avforums.com/reviews/vertere-mg-1-mkii-turntable-review.19351/
Going by his pics on Instagram he uses a heavily modified Gyrodec, a P10 , a newly acquired Vertere and an Avid with two tonearmsDoes Ed not use a Vertere as his daily driver?

In this case it's probably because he reviews hifi for a living, though there's plenty of PFM members (enthusiasts) who own multiple pieces of equipment.I don't really understand the need to own several decks, arms, carts etc, must be a collector thing.
This reviewing lark just pay wellGoing by his pics on Instagram he uses a heavily modified Gyrodec, a P10 , a newly acquired Vertere and an Avid with two tonearms
Neither do I. Would do my head in, choosing with TT to play what type of music etc. my guess is that it’s people who like gear more than music. Nothing wrong with a sweeping statement when I make itI don't really understand the need to own several decks, arms, carts etc, must be a collector thing.
