My partner is off to MIT for 8 months from Feb on a research sabbatical so it looks like I'm going to be spending a fair amount of time visiting Boston. I've been there once but mostly lucked out on finding Vinyl. One store near the Harvard Co-Op bookshop had an okayish selection of Jazz but the place was run by the kind of caricatures that even Nick Hornby would have considered to be too cliched. Any pointers? Tastes = mostly weird noisy rock music, electronica and hard-bop.
