Quad FM4 Display

it's the correct battery. will check if it's charging. Only one or two Quad service facilities here in the US. Emailed Quad about the FM4. Open to suggestions about service agents in the UK for Quad components. The DIN connectors are enough to scare off some techs here.
 
I have a suspicion that the new battery is not charged/ not being charged. Could be wrong though.

Quad themselves would be a good bet for service in the UK.

Excellent, you could charge it externally, put it in and then see if tuner works properly, suspect it might.

Need to look at how it's charged on-board, circuit diag should be easy to get on the internet. If you have a problem getting I may have it somewhere.
