Have been without a tt for around 3 months now (previous one was a linn ). Interested in a Pro-Ject 175 on ebay as it has a detachable headshell , looks ok and is low maintenance and is apparently new at reduced price etc. This model is based on the classic.
Trouble is that the accompanying review on ebay by an owner slates the deck as looking good but sounding bad due to intrusive motor noise . Henley state that any faults should be fixable.
So I am asking if any Pro-Ject Classic owners out there can affirm whether their model does indeed exhibit audible motor noise regardless of how loud or soft it is ?
